We're looking for a variety of background roles.

Student roles will be filmed in Bennett, Iowa from June 2–9.

If you're selected for the main classroom scenes, you'll be needed all week.
If you're interested in recess or hallway scenes, a one-day commitment is fine.

Other background roles (teacher, nurse, general extras) will only require one day, and most are short time commitments.

Please only submit if you can fully commit. Background work is a great way to gain on-set experience, make connections, and get your foot in the door in the film industry.

Education of a Teacher follows a dedicated middle school teacher navigating the challenges of a rural classroom as the school year winds down. Balancing his professional life with an expanding family at home, he finds himself drawn into the struggles of a troubled student whose home life is unraveling. Through unexpected humor, tender moments, and difficult conversations, the film explores the profound impact one teacher can have on the lives of his students—and the life-changing lessons they teach him in return.
